The Practice Notebooks of Michael Brecker can be used with any treble clef instrument (since he often wrote “Play in all keys!”) and contain explanations of how he actually worked on these ideas from Joey Calderazzo, John Patitucci, Richie Beirach, Steve Khan and Dave Liebman.
