His drums up new business via unorthodox partnerships and identifies a transformational merger for the firm. Along the way, he confidence swells with some dog killing, watch stealing, house breaking japes. He adopts a new identity in New York to land a particularly lucrative piece of new business. In Los Angeles, he alternates between painting obscenities on billboards and meeting unsuitable women in West Hollywood dive bars. All the while, he’s falling in love with Maya as she writes his story.
