A Trinity of Lies

Openly Gay. Surrounded by Secrets and Repression. At St Thomas Becket, a Catholic boys' school built on tradition and silence, sixteen-year-old Oliver Harding has never learned to keep quiet. Brilliant, observant and openly gay, he notices the things others would rather leave hidden. When a new priest and a new maths teacher arrive, Oliver's curiosity becomes fixation. Father Michael Jones carries doubts he has never been allowed to name, while married teacher Liam Harris believes discipline and denial can keep his carefully ordered life intact. But in a place where reputation matters more than truth, secrets have a way of becoming weapons. As boundaries erode and loyalties fracture, obsession, hidden sexuality and hypocrisy pull the three lives into an increasingly dangerous collision. What begins with suspicion develops into manipulation, betrayal and a chain of events that threatens careers, faith, freedom-and lives. A Trinity of Lies is a dark psychological thriller about identity, repression, power and the consequences of enforced silence. Set against the traditions of a Catholic boys' school, it explores the tensions between faith and sexuality, the danger of obsession, and what can happen when the truth becomes more threatening than the lie. For readers drawn to morally complex characters, institutional secrets and tense, character-driven suspense.
