Forever Rogue (The Forgotten Five, Book 7)

X-Men meets Spy Kids in the seventh and final installment of The Forgotten Five middle-grade fantasy/adventure series by the New York Times bestselling author of The Unwanteds. Estero is in chaos following election night, when President Fuerte and his superpowered henchman Hector, who has a mind control ability, went on national television and hypnotized the country into believing that Fuerte—and not the rightful winner, Magdalia Palacio—had received more votes. Only Cabot escaped Hector’s trance and knows the truth. Luckily, she can use her own ability to un-brainwash her team. With Hector by his side, an emboldened Fuerte declares himself president for life. It’s clear Fuerte and Hector need to be brought to justice, but how can the team defeat a super with such a powerful ability and a president willing to do anything to remain in power? The Forgotten Five fantasy adventure series reaches its explosive conclusion as the five and their allies undertake their most dangerous mission yet, and the fate of all Estero rests in their hands.
