From Shattered to Whole

Three days after her mother is told she is dying, the man who promised to love her walks away.  No warning. No reason. Just silence.  In one breath, Dinares loses the two people who built her world—the woman who gave her life, and the man who had been quietly taking it apart.  What follows is the collapse: the numb days, the nights that blur into panic and disbelief, the slow unravelling of a life lived under the weight of manipulation, control, and a love that was never really love at all.  From Shattered to Whole is a memoir written from inside the wreckage—a tender, haunting exploration of narcissistic abuse, grief, and the fragile miracle of finding yourself again when everything you were has been stripped away.  Told in prose that cuts and soothes in equal measure, it is both a love letter to the mother who taught her how to survive and a reckoning with the man who taught her how easily love can wound.  This is not a story of despair.  It is the story of what comes after—of the quiet, stubborn light that begins to return when you finally stop begging to be loved, and start learning to be free.
