Juan Pablo Molyneux

Interior designer Juan Pablo Molyneux's twelfth-century estate, the Château de Pouy, artfully reflects both the sweep of history and the spirit of the present.

Few designers command a room quite like Juan Pablo Molyneux. Internationally acclaimed and unapologetically bold, his interiors sparkle with wit and eclectic energy yet remain firmly anchored in classicism. His approach is rooted in history but never constrained by it—spirited spaces that transcend time rather than replicate the past.

At Château de Pouy, he was drawn to the centuries-old character and potential for renewal; he envisioned it not only as his home but also as a living résumé of his craft, weaving history and modernity, grandeur, and intimacy into a single, unified vision. Under Molyneux's care, it has been reborn into a new era of magnificence, surrounded by thirty-two acres of lush parkland. Inside, every room reflects his daring opulence and unwavering discipline, blending patterns, eras, and styles with precision. Nothing feels accidental, yet nothing feels rigid. The Château de Pouy is more than a residence; it is a manifesto in stone and light.
