The Life Beyond

A groundbreaking and deeply moving exploration of one surgeon's discovery of the afterlife, and how its spiritual power can transform the way we live. An international bestseller that redefines the boundaries between science and spirituality with a bold thesis: life continues beyond death, and the evidence can be scientifically observed. Renowned Spanish surgeon Dr. Manuel Sans Segarra was once a sceptic. That all changed when he encountered patients who had been clinically dead - without cardiac, respiratory or brain activity - and yet returned, reporting vivid and inexplicable experiences that defied all medical explanation upon being revived. What began as curiosity became a lifelong scientific and spiritual investigation into what Dr. Manuel Sans Segarra calls the 'supraconsciousness' - a collective consciousness that shows our existence extends far beyond the physical, and that death is not the end. Drawing on his pioneering career in laparoscopic surgery, Dr. Sans Segarra intertwines his personal journey with rigorously documented case studies of near-death experiences (NDEs) and insights from quantum physics. The result is a transformative narrative that bridges medicine, mysticism and the mysteries of human consciousness. With over 200,000 copies sold worldwide, The Life Beyond challenges conventional beliefs and unveils a revolutionary new understanding of life, death and the eternal nature of the mind.
