The Weird Tales Collection

This deluxe hardback edition brings together a range of fascinating stories, from the cosmic horror of Lovecraft's Great Old Ones to the epic tales of Zothique, the last continent on a dying Earth. A number of writers made their reputations in the pulp magazine Weird Tales, which first appeared in 1922. Specialising in horror, fantasy and science fiction, it published some of the most imaginative and thrilling works of the era. These pioneers influenced generations of speculative fiction writers and shaped genre fiction as we know it today. This collection brings together many of the greatest stories published in that magazine, including: • 'The Call of Cthulhu' by H. P. Lovecraft • 'The Shadow Kingdom' by Robert E. Howard • 'The Dark Eidolon' by Clark Ashton Smith • 'The Hounds of Tindalos' by Frank Belknap Long • 'The Graveyard Rats' by Henry Kuttner ABOUT THE SERIES: The Arcturus Pulp Classics series brings together classic short story collections from across the fantasy, science fiction, and horror genres, strikingly presented in hardback gift editions with silver cover accents and full-colour page edges.
